 Thanks for your reply,

The code 32998 is the Ablation of lung by Radio frequency method.  I'm searching for the Cryoablation of lung mass code:If you have any idea about the code , kindly let me know about the codes & update.  Shall i take it as Unlisted procedure (32999)

I'm with you I can't find anything so I guess you'll have to use the unlisted procedure code......I would recommend that you ask for a number to be listed in the c 3 list if its used enough it may be listed in our level 1 codes at some point... sue

when we talk about cryoablation, a radiofrequency generator is used to connect the ablation probe to remove the lesion. i suggest CPT 32998  would be the correct code for ablation of lung mass.

As far as I know, there is not a specific CPT code at this time for cryoablation of a lung mass. You'll need to use the unlisted code 32999. You'll also want 76940.
