Good morning everyone, I am looking for some information on billing PT Evaluation codes 98771-98778 with E&M the same day. I dont believe you can do this, but I can not locate the language. Any help would be great! Thanks.

There are no active 98771-98778 codes. Did you want 97001 - 97002? They are the codes for Physical therapy evaluation and re-evaluation.

The 9788 codes are CA work comp codes. But yes, they are the same as 97001 & 97002 (http://www.calphys.org/assets/applets/workers_comp_issues.pdf ). Sorry, I should have specified that.
