Hepatitis B and A vaccine
I am pretty sure that Medicare  covers Hepatitis B vaccine only in a few special circumstances and does not cover Hep A at all. I have tried to look in the Medicare local determination for ICD codes to back this up but I am unable to get there. If a patient has chronic liver and  or kidney conditons  making it necessary for a  transplant I think they may be covered.
Does anyone have any idea how to locate this information or know the answer thanks Ann

Check your Medicare carrier's site for G0010...it's the administrative code for the Hepatitis B Vaccine.
