Hello Katheryn,

I need you help. I am an Indian. Am i eligible for the job. To find a job in united states what qualities in coding should one posses and what are the academic qualification required.

I finished my MBA in Healthcare. I am certified CCA and appearing for CCS-P in November and working as an inpatient coder for the past two years. Will i be eligible once i am a certified CCS-P.

Sorry for responding to this so late. I just noticed that you replied to my post. The following are qualifications we look for in candidates:

-At least 3-5 years of acute care coding experience (ie: Ipatient, Oupatient, etc).
-Must posses a certification (CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, RHIT, RHIA, etc).

Do you currently reside in the United States?
