PEG Tube removal
Does anyone know the code for removal of a PEG tube that takes place in the operating room.

Was the PEG site surgically closed?  Check out 43870 and see if that fits your situation. :)

Hmmm...I dont see a code that fits from the information you have given.  Im thinking you may have to use a code for an unlisted procedure.  Anyone else have any suggestions?

43247, EGD w/ removal of a foreign body is how you code the PEG removal via endoscopy.
