I recently discovered that, in the CCI database, there are edit pairs (over 2 thousand of them) that have the column 1 and column 2 codes swapped. For example, codes 53660 and 52647, in that order, show as terminated effective March 31, 2006. In the swapped order, 52647 as column 1 and 53660 as column 2, they are active effective April 1, 2006. This can pose a real problem for practices depending on how they sequence their codes. Frank Cohen with MIT Solutions, Inc. created a spreadsheet that shows the codes in both orders along with their effective and termination dates for Version 12.1 and all prior reversed edit pairs. To get this, go to www.mitsi.org and click on the Download tab. The file set is titled CCI Version 12.1 Change Statistics and is the second link down. This contains all of the change information for version 12.1.
The download is free.....I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.
